When the cat is away the mice will play
Which I find quite amusing
Not that they play that gives me paws
But the company of their choosing
The mice will play with rats you see
And many other vermin
Who dig though other critters trash
And keep the gossip churnin
On they peep, snicker and squeak
When they think the cat isn't looking
What does not seem to hit them yet
Is what that cat has cooking
You never see a Cheshire cat
Except his toothy grin
If it's mischief mice prefer
Then let the games begin...
